As a winner of the 2022-2023 Classical Recital Competition, Tanya will be presenting her recital of Fairy Tales and Children’s Songs with pianist Michael Langlois at the Montpelier Arts Center. Based on fairy tales and music for children, selections include Jake Heggie’s “Songs to the Moon,” Francis Poulenc’s “La courte paille", poetry by Dorothy Parker and A. A. Milne, and German lieder of magic and witchcraft.
